This striking brooch is inspired by one of Scotland’s most famous monarchs, Mary Queen of Scots (1542–1587). Known also as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland, she ascended the throne as an infant after the death of her father, James V of Scotland. Her life was marked by drama, intrigue, and ultimately tragedy, making her a captivating historical figure.
The brooch beautifully captures Mary’s regal elegance with a shimmering Marble Silvery White acrylic for her elaborate ruff, evoking the grandeur of her royal attire.
