Garden Tiger Moth on Strawberry Plant Acrylic Brooch
The Garden Tiger Moth is common throughout the British Isles and is known for the gorgeous giraffe-like markings on their wings. The caterpillars are usually found on plants such as the Strawberry Plant.
This brooch features a Garden Tiger Moth resting on the Strawberry plant. A marble red acrylic has been used for the juicy strawberries and a subtly sparkly white marble acrylic has been used for the flower blossoms. The markings on the moth's wings have been engraved and painted by hand.
This brooch measures 47mm tall by 42mm wide and is sold in a box as pictured.
